Choosing a photographer you vibe with is key, & for us it's important that we work with couples we vibe with as well.
We pour all our love into each session we do because we love the art.
We are also your support & advocate from now through your wedding day (& hopefully your friend beyond then). & we DON'T use AI to edit because Skynet doesn't understand the nuances of what makes real-life memories beautiful.
Our Job isn't to fit your day into a formula or tell you what you 'should' be doing. We're here to capture the moments that matter most to you exactly as it unfolds. So yes, we do direct if needed, but mostly we just like to let you be you and live your day how you want to.

Heyyy! I'm Chris, eye-blinker by day, sleeper by night, nerd, and photographer for more than 20 years. I love '80s movies, '90s colors, aquascaping, brain-melting board games, perfecting my very precise coffee-brewing techniques, and writing fiction. And you know that "one weird trick" that has the medical community baffled? Well, I figured it out.
But anyway, I grew up in Virginia and moved to Massachusetts at age 26 to be with my lady love, Anna. While here I got my English degree, worked in the corporate world for three years, hated every minute of it, battled crippling anxiety and self-doubt, got laid off (huzzah!), all while building up this photography business with Anna. Getting serious about photography has been the second-most fulfilling and life-saving decision I've ever made (see “lady love” above for #1).
I'm Anna, the one who "handles the business side of things" and "sometimes second-shooter wife." You'll probably hear Chris say those exact words when he's introducing me on our phone calls.
Much of my adult life I've been working as a nurse across many different departments. Working in healthcare is super rewarding, but over the years I've realized that my calling has always been to be a mom and a wife at home where I feel the happiest. I also get to embrace my creative side behind the camera alongside Chris which is also another place I feel the happiest.
I'm inspired by the beauty I see in people interacting with each other, I'm usually the one walking around trying to capture those moments on my camera. My favorite weddings are intimate backyard sessions and those at unique, non-traditional venues where the love between family and friends is extra palpable.
