As the sun dipped towards the horizon, we strolled along the sandy shore, capturing Macie and Morgan in their element—laughing, holding hands, and soaking in the golden hour glow. The beach provided a beautiful, ever-changing canvas that reflected their vibrant connection. Every shot was a testament to their genuine affection and joy.

After our beach adventure, we headed over to Captain Dusty’s Ice Cream Shop, a local favorite. Macie and Morgan indulged in delicious ice cream, adding a playful and sweet touch to their session. With cones in hand, they laughed and shared smiles. The whole session seemed like we were old friends just hanging out and having a good time. This is one of the reasons why I love engagement shoots, because we just jive together while creating beautiful photos. Documentary style allows you to be fully present and have this reflected in your photos.

I was immediately drawn to how beautiful your photos are. You seem to capture emotion so well without having to be too ‘pose-y,’ and everyone in your photos seems to be having a great time. Plus, when I reached out for the initial inquiry and made a long-lost cousin joke, you didn’t seem too weirded out, so I knew you guys would be fun and click with us and our guests (which hopefully will get us the best pics!).”
