When couples tell us they want an engagement session that actually feels like them, this is exactly what they mean. Gwyn and Conor are the definition of laid-back and fully themselves, so their New Hampshire engagement session was less of a “session” and more of an adventure day with the two goofiest people.
They picked Chris up in their car and kicked things off by visiting their old college apartment, the place where their story really started.
From there, the three of them wandered down a trail (through way too much poison ivy) that opened up to a secret beach filled with wildlife like horseshoe crabs, a deer casually eating from a nearby bush, and plenty of skipping rocks. See below a pic of Chris skipping rocks lol.
They even swapped their bright, colorful outfits with each other halfway through just because it felt fun and yes, it fit them both perfectly.
The whole session felt like hanging out with old friends rather than “taking engagement photos,” which is exactly the energy we love. Real moments > perfect poses every single time.
If you’re looking for a documentary-style New Hampshire engagement photographer, this is your sign that we should hang out.
